Toronto's Molar Radio #42: The child born on Zunday…
Bit of a delay there, but some friends had to move, and I never pass up an opportunity to lift boxes.
In case you didn’t see it, Erin and I were on the MTV this week, talking about the podcast and our break-up episode in particular. It was pretty last-minute, so I didn’t bother putting a notice up here. More specifically, we were on MTV Live, which is “a place to hang-out with the world’s biggest stars.” And boy oh boy, is that us.
I’ll see if I can get a video of it; otherwise, you’ll have to use your imagination while listening to us talk about the experience. That’ll be in #43, which should be finished by next week.
On this episode, we talk about a bunch of non-MTV stuff. Check the notes!
Oh, and Erin’s now looking for full-time nanny work, preferably in downtown Toronto, ideally close to Lansdowne station. Let her know if you’ve got a lead!
As always, post your virginal comments below (or out loud at 309-216-6458), answer the poll on the right (really time for a new one, I know), vote at the Alley as if it mattered, or see our contact page for e-mail/Skype/PO Box info.

MTV? Sell outs! Molar Radio, you’ve changed man. It’s like I don’t even know you anymore. Single tear.

Ah, but it’s the Canadian MTV, so no actual celebrities or VJs.

Wow, way to tear out Daryn Jones’s heart.
We have celebrities in Canada; it’s just that no one knows about ‘em. They operate surreptitiously, like ninjas, far from the gaze of the public eye.
Except for us, of course. We’re about the closest approximation our country has to famous people. It’s really quite sad up here.

hahaha! i like how at the end of that entry they include “He has appeared in commercials for Blockbuster Video and Arby’s.” as if those credits are the deal makers! “arby’s and blcokbuster! such the thespian! we must have him for our saw pre-quel!!”

Sorry I missed you, Erin! We had such fun without you. It was a lifechanging experience.
But seriously, I lost all respect for both of you and your fancy studio. For your information, I’m keepin’ it real with just a preamp.

I never did explain where this title came from; it’s a totally subversive Mother Goose reference:
“The child born on Sunday is fair and wise and good and gay”.
It’s in Wikipedia — see for yourself!
