Great podcast - been listening since maybe episode 3 or so. At the time was making the trip up to Muskoka for the weekend. Only thing I wonder about is what you guys do - where do you work? Where are you from originally? How did you meet? You might have covered it before I subscribed, but I’m too lazy to go back and check.

Anyway, the Paris “interview” was great, I feel the same way. Keep on keeping it.

I just wanted to say that I love the podcast. I only came across it a couple of weeks ago, but decided to catch up before posting.

Can’t wait for the next one.

  3. Doug Says:

    Hey, Doug again…

Just wanted to add that I love the comic coverage. I haven’t been collecting anything in the past few years, but friends lend me graphic novels and the such from time to time.

It was cool to hear that Howard Chaykin is still doing stuff, because he’s always been a personal fave. Seriously, he’s done some amazing stuff. I’d recommend American Flag!, from the mid-80s.

    Hey Adam,

I’m not even sure if we really talked much about ourselves, so that’ll be in this week’s show (coming any day now). Thanks a lot for the feedback!

    Hi Doug,

I heard that American Flagg! was released in a complete one-volume book recently, so I’m eager to check it out.

Thanks for being the first to comment on the comics stuff. I’ve seen a couple of comics-only podcasts spring up lately, but I don’t think we’d want to talk about just one thing, nor attempt to “cover” the goings-on of a whole medium — we just talk about stuff that we’re into, and comics is sort of a niche audience. It’s easy enough to skip past parts of the show that don’t interest you, but at least someone enjoys it… Thanks for both of your posts! Where you listening from?

Great podcast! I’ll back ya up as well… encouraging the comic book coverage :) BTW, good work pimpin’ AGR a few episodes ago.

The Paris Hilton Interview… LOL awesome! Had me chuckling here at work.

As far as my listening location goes, I’m based here around the Seattle, Washington (USA) area.

  7. Doug Says:

Forgot to mention that I’m a Toronto guy born and raised (except for the hellish years in the burbs). I’m digging the format, and like the fact that you actually delved into Canadian politics as well.

Now that #10 is in, I’m off to listen.

    Keep up the great work.

  8. CaugheyMachine Says:

Drat, we just recorded show 11 last night, and didn’t read any listener comments.

Interesting… Comic books and Canadian politics aren’t boring at least a couple of people to death. And since Anti-Gravity Room is off the air (and former host Nick is now acting or something), I suppose we’ll keep talking about the comics we’re reading. If you have any recommendations, pass ‘em along, too!
